As a designer who loves photo and video, I was excited to try this out for my home theater setup. First impression: it really enhances the viewing experience, wrapping the room in accurate hues that change with the content. The setup was straightforward, and the voice control is a handy feature for our family. However, after a few weeks, I noticed the strip doesn't stick as well as I'd hoped, and the warm white option isn't as bright as expected. Overall, it's a great addition for movie nights, but I wish it were more reliable for the cost. I'd recommend it with some reservations.
- Pros: The colors match what's on screen perfectly, making movies feel immersive, and it was easy to set up with my thin TV. I love that I can control it with my voice or an app, no remote needed, and it works right away with multiple lights for a cozy atmosphere.
- Cons: The adhesive could be stronger for long-term use, and while the warm white is nice, it sometimes seems a bit dim compared to the vibrant colors. It's fairly pricey for what it does, and syncing all the lights took a bit of fiddling.
