Asus Unveils First Copilot Plus Mini PC Featuring Intel Core Ultra 9 Processors

Asus introduces the NUC 14 Pro AI, the first mini PC compatible with Copilot Plus, powered by Intel’s latest Core Ultra 9 processors.

Asus has recently launched the NUC 14 Pro AI, marking the debut of the first Copilot Plus-enabled AI mini PC. This compact device is equipped with Intel’s new Core Ultra 9 processor, all housed in a sleek design reminiscent of a black M4 Mac Mini. Initially showcased at IFA in September, Asus has now revealed more about the mini PC’s specifications, though details on availability and pricing remain under wraps.

The NUC 14 Pro AI offers five CPU configurations, ranging from the Core Ultra 5 226V with 16GB of integrated RAM to the Core Ultra 9 288V boasting 32GB of RAM. It delivers up to 67 TOPS of GPU performance and 48 NPU TOPS, with an M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 4 x 4 slot supporting NVMe SSDs from 256GB to 2TB. Despite its powerful internals, the device maintains a compact form factor, measuring 130mm in depth and width, and just 34mm in height.

Key features include a top-mounted fingerprint sensor, a front-facing Copilot button for voice commands to Microsoft’s AI assistant, two USB-A ports, a Thunderbolt 4 port, a headphone jack, and a power button. The rear houses a 2.5Gbps ethernet jack, another Thunderbolt 4 port, two additional USB-A ports, and an HDMI port. For wireless connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
