Baidu Unveils XiaoduPods Smart Earbuds and DuerOS 6.0 Upgrades

Baidu introduces XiaoduPods smart earbuds and DuerOS 6.0 at Baidu World 2020, enhancing user experiences in elderly care and smart hotels.

At the Baidu World 2020 conference on September 15, Chinese tech giant Baidu unveiled the latest version of its conversational AI system, DuerOS 6.0, and launched the XiaoduPods smart earbuds. These earbuds cater to a broader range of user needs, including elderly care and smart hotel services.

As Baidu’s first portable consumer electronics product, the XiaoduPods boast a 28-hour battery life and feature dual microphones supported by an AI algorithm for precise voice pickup, effectively filtering out ambient noise. Users can activate various functions such as voice search, voice navigation, music playback, and calls by double-tapping or using the wake-up phrase ‘Xiaodu Xiaodu’.
