CES 2025: Anticipated Tech from AMD, NVIDIA, Hyundai, and More in Las Vegas
CES 2025 is just around the corner, and we’re gearing up for a showcase of groundbreaking tech from industry leaders like AMD, NVIDIA, and Hyundai.

The holiday season may have just started, but the Engadget team is already preparing for CES 2025. Right after New Year’s Day, we’ll be heading to Las Vegas to cover tech’s most significant annual event. Our calendars are filling up with appointments for briefings and demos, and our inboxes are overflowing with pitches from companies planning to showcase their latest innovations.
Based on past experience and current industry trends, we can make educated guesses about what to expect. CES has traditionally covered a wide range of tech, from TVs and cars to smart home products and personal health devices, with a mix of laptops and accessories. This year, AI is expected to be more pervasive across all categories. We’ll likely see new processors and laptops, along with various wearables, trackers, and smart home appliances.
Confirmed keynotes include NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang, Delta’s Ed Bastian, and executives from Panasonic, SiriusXM, Waymo, and Volvo. Some companies, like LG and Hyundai Mobis, have already announced their CES launches. LG revealed its 2025 QNED evo LCD TV lineup, while Hyundai Mobis teased its world-first Holographic Windshield Display.
For PC gamers, 2025 promises to be a significant year. NVIDIA is expected to unveil its RTX 5000 series, and AMD is set to launch its next-generation RDNA 4 GPUs. AMD’s Lisa Su has hinted at significant improvements in ray tracing and AI capabilities. Meanwhile, NVIDIA’s rumored RTX 5090 could outperform the RTX 4090 by up to 70%.
AI is also set to dominate CES 2025, with more AI features integrated into various products. PC makers are likely to push AI-powered devices to coincide with the end of Windows 10 support. However, 2025 may also be a year of reckoning for AI, as companies will need to prove their AI claims.
In the audio sector, hearing health tools are expected to be a focus, inspired by Apple’s recent AirPods Pro 2 update. Sennheiser, known for its CES launches, could introduce hearing assistance features in its flagship Momentum line. Additionally, CES often showcases assistive devices, and we hope to see more general hearing tools integrated into popular models.
The shift to electric vehicles extends beyond cars to include flying taxis. With companies like Archer Aviation and Joby Aviation planning to launch eVTOL services in 2025, CES could mark the beginning of the air taxi era.
Soundbars are another category to watch, with companies like LG and Samsung expected to announce new models. Improvements in dialogue enhancement and AI sound features are likely, building on advancements like Sonos’ Speech Enhancement.
