Revolutionary Ultralight Laptop with 32-Hour Battery Life Unveiled by Asus

CES 2025 is just around the corner, and Asus is gearing up to unveil a groundbreaking new product: an ultralight laptop that it claims will be the world’s lightest Copilot+ PC. A teaser video released by Asus showcases the laptop floating effortlessly, hinting at its featherweight design, though specific weight details remain undisclosed.

To claim the title of the world’s lightest, the laptop will need to weigh less than 2.6 pounds, a feat that would surpass the Surface Pro 11th edition (with keyboard) and the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x. While the exact processor powering the device is yet to be revealed, Asus has announced that the laptop will boast up to 32 hours of battery life. This extraordinary claim suggests that the laptop could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite, renowned for its exceptional power efficiency, or Intel’s Core Ultra Series 2, which has also demonstrated impressive battery performance.

It’s important to note that manufacturer-conducted battery tests often differ from real-world usage, typically yielding lower results. Reviewers can expect the actual battery life to be several hours shorter than the claimed 32 hours. Nonetheless, a battery life exceeding 25 hours would place this new laptop at the pinnacle of its category.

The wait for more details won’t be long, as Asus plans to officially introduce the laptop at its ‘Always Incredible’ event on January 7.
