Dia: The New AI-Powered Web Browser from The Arc Team
In a major step towards integrating AI with web browsing, The Browser Company is set to unveil Dia in early 2025. This AI-focused browser aims to streamline internet tasks with innovative features, enhancing user experience without replacing existing products like Arc.

Josh Miller, CEO of The Browser Company, announced a new AI-focused browser, Dia, set for an early 2025 launch. With a teaser video showcasing features like ‘write the next line’ for information retrieval and ‘summarize a tab,’ Dia seeks to revolutionize browsing. It can even understand and manipulate entire browser windows, offering capabilities like crafting emails with a list of Amazon links from open tabs.
‘AI won’t be just an app or a button’, Dia’s manifesto asserts, championing a new browsing environment. The company is currently recruiting for this visionary project. Dia can execute commands, such as retrieving documents based on descriptions and dispatching them through your email platform. It even automatically handles intricate tasks, like curating shopping carts or sending tailored meeting times to video staff.
Miller reassures that the launch of Dia won’t signal the end of Arc, The Browser Company’s first browser. He acknowledges user concerns but insists, ‘This is the clear future direction for technology.’
