VAG VAS6154 Diagnostic Tool: Latest diagnostic and programming interface
What's in the box? Well, for starters, it talks wirelessly (WIFI and USB, because cords are so last decade) and doesn't lose its train of thought. It's also a polyglot, supporting multiple languages so you don't need to brush up on your German. Software updates? Covered. It's rocking V4.013 now, and it plays nice with Off-board Diagnostic Information Engineering from V6.2 and Service from V3.0.3. Pretty slick, right?
Just a heads-up: if you're working on a Seat, Bentley, or Lamborghini, you might want to stick with the VAS 5054A and its Old V19 Software. This tool's cool, but even superheroes have their kryptonite.
